Adult Day Services

Success Stories

A hands-on vocational program designed to help adults achieve personal success within their community and workplace.

With the individualized support offered through Amego, many adults have found greater independence and success in their day-to-day living. Our hands-on approach offers the correct amount of support and resources necessary to maintain behavioral stability while increasing chances for improvement, and ultimately gaining a position in the least restrictive program model. We offer three program models:

Individual and Group Supported Employment Program - This model focuses on developing marketable skills, career planning, employment acquisition, and providing community supports for job maintenance and long term success.

Community-Based Day Supports Program - This is a flexible program model offering opportunities for work, volunteering, and options for community activities that help round out an individual’s developmental profile. We have been very successful in assisting those who are behaviorally challenged to adapt and participate in meaningful work with the prospect of gaining supported employment in the future. The program is licensed by the Department of Labor, which ensures a fair and measured wage for every participant. We are grateful for the many opportunities our members are given through long-standing relationships with the YMCA, the Taunton Animal Shelter, and HESSCO.

Day Habilitation Program - This program provides a higher-level of specialized services to individuals that may need extra help - due to age or other circumstance. This is a structured, goal-oriented, day program of medically oriented, therapeutic, habilitation services designed to improve levels of functioning, facilitate independent living, and overall self-management skills. The team is lead by licensed professionals (R.N., OT, PT, Speech/Language Therapist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst). Services are extended to those in areas where transportation can be coordinated and for all individuals that meet the requirements set forth by MassHealth. Referrals are accepted through the Department of Developmental Services.
