Heidi Fall, Adult Program Director
Since joining Amego in July of 2006 I have had many opportunities to improve my knowledge and develop new skills. At Amego there are no limitations for growth and I’ve always been encouraged to stretch myself. The company offers many growth and development opportunities. Since joining the team 10 years ago, I’ve learned so many new things: At the beginning I was hired as an overnight shift supervisor at one of our Adult program. As a Shift Supervisor I worked closely with my Program coordinator. Three years later, In November of 2009, I got promoted to Assistant Coordinator at one of our children program. I was given the position of program coordinator nine month later in one of our adult residences which I held for 4years and half. Since September of 2014, I was promoted to program Director which is my current position.
Working at Amego is a great pleasure for me. Amego also gives me the opportunity to work in a pleasant multicultural environment. The management team is very good in making sure that the suggestions and opinions of employees are included in the company planning process. I am proud to be part of Amego, it feels like being part of a family. Staff members enjoy and have fun doing their work. Each and every staff member is respected and his or her contribution is considered important.
Amego is people-focused and this remains strong throughout the company’s growth and development. We are now at a time of rapid growth. This is an exciting time to be working at Amego and I look forward to the opportunities and challenges that come with the expansion of the business. I’m looking forward to my future at the company and I believe Amego is an excellent organization with which to build a career.
I am very grateful for the opportunity Amego has given me to discover my hidden skills and gain experience in the company. I will always be thankful to the people who believed in me and gave me this opportunity to grow, not only within the company but also as a person.
Alexis Bandoma, Adult Residential Program Coordinator
My name is Alexis Bandoma and I am the Program Coordinator at the Norwood Residence. I first started working for Amego, Inc. in January of 2011. My first position was as an Assistant Teacher in the school. Prior to starting my teaching position, I underwent three weeks of well thought out and organized training. After a few months of learning more each day from challenges I faced on shift, on more than one occasion, I was about to give up and quit my position. Thankfully one fortunate reality of working at Amego is the encouragement and commitment due to a very well qualified management team that is willing to help staff improve professionally. I benefited from being surrounded by these fine individuals. It was this joyful and pleasant working environment that convinced me to continue working with Amego. I then began applying for upward positions and I was elevated first to Case Manager then to Program Coordinator. Amego focuses on serving individuals and it is sometimes challenging to help them reach their full potential and be as independent as possible. Any qualified person who feels they are able to satisfy this requirement can be insured to have an opportunity for a great career at Amego Inc.
Famatta Wright, Residential Nurse Monitor
Here at Amego, I continue to enjoy working with a diverse workforce, a flexible work schedule and the opportunity for professional growth. I started working with Amego in July of 2008 as a Paraprofessional in the Day Habilitation program. I completed my Registered Nurse program while I worked as a Shift Supervisor in one of our Children's Residential programs. I have gone on to work as the Day Habilitation Nurse Supervisor where I first started and currently serve as the Nurse Monitor for our Children's Residential programs.
