Adult Services Admission Overview

Amego provides day and residential services to adults from age 22 and above. Our individuals are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder or other neurological disorders which impact social, behavioral and intellectual development.

Referrals are accepted from funding sources, typically the Department of Developmental Services. Referrals for either day or residential programs should be submitted to Linda Ingram, Vice President of Social Services.

Once a referral is received Amego will coordinate a visit to meet the person and their providers in their home or current placement. Every effort is made to identify the most suitable day program and residential placement at Amego. Families are encouraged to visit Amego early in the process to evaluate whether Amego is a suitable match for their family-member. Once placement is finalized a date is set for a transition meeting at which time an admission date is set.
