Amego provides day school and residential educational services to children ages 8-22 in our day school and 8-22 in our residential programs. Our students are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder or other neurological disorders which impact social, behavioral and intellectual development.
Referrals are accepted from funding sources including school districts, the Department of Children and Families or families. Referrals for either the day school or residential program school be submitted to Robert Lynch, Director of Student Services.
Families are encouraged to visit Amego early on in the process to evaluate whether our school is the best match for their son or daughter. Once a referral is received, Amego staff will meet the student in their current placement before the administrative team makes a decision to accept for admission. Every effort is made to identify the most suitable classroom and residence, when needed, for the student. Once placement is accepted a date is set for transition meeting during which an admission date is set.
